Going to the beach!

Last weekend we made a trip to Florance Oregon to see Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Lynn. We went four wheeling in the dunes, ate seafood and had a beautiful weekend on the Oregon coast. Everytime grandpa Lynn took out Georgia and I, Georgia would fall asleep promptly. It was the only time she for the duration of the trip.

Matching Pj's

Just a quick update because I had the time. Gigi had a hard time wanting to put these jammies on because she thought they were Olivia's. Finally, after seeing Olivia in hers, she decided to give it a try.

Gigi at home

Well, as back to school begins, so does the chapter of Gigi being home with out her sissy. I think nap time is in order during that time. We have been working on the time change for naptime for about a week, and it has been seamless so far. . . . .

Olivia's First day of 3 day preschool

Olivia started her 3 day pre-school today. She was up at the crack of dawn asking about when she was going, and bugged me until finally at 10:30a.m. we left for school. It doesn't start until 11:30a.m. She met a lot of new people, and still holds true that teacher Judy is a very nice lady. Last year, she was a pretty nice gal. Ahhhh, how things change in one year!

The Big Chill

So, after having gorgeous weather last weekend, the middle of the week started to feel a little like October. We haven't stopped since. Rain, cold, yucky rain. It has found us just a little too soon. I am hoping to see sun for just a bit this next week, and a nice indian summer might be in order to end a tumultuous year.

Side note:

To the Winegar family, I am truely sorry for your loss, of a sister, mom, aunt and friend. I know Annabelle will be missed by you all.

Cowgirls, uh hum, for the day!

Wow, what the weather does here in the Northwest is really unbelievable! The weekend of the 16th of August it was so hot. I think we hit 105 degrees. Well, that particular weekend, we hit the Keizer Volcanos baseball game on Friday, then the Canby fair and rodeo on Saturday. Friday night cooled down quite nicely, but Saturday, what a miserable, dusty mess we tried to outlast, much to our disappointment, we couldn't. The girls called it a night. They just wanted to go, so after watching Howdy McGinn rope, we hauled er back to the durango and called er quits.

Bend, OR

The weather was beautiful, as were most of the veiws. Travis was in seventh heaven being back in his old stomping ground. Bend sure has grown over the last several years. Lots of cute shops and nice restaraunts. Wish we could have hung out another day or so, but we'll go back much sooner this next time.
