To Cap off the Holidays!

We had a wonderful Christmas and hope that you all did too! We hope to spend more time with everyone in the new year! Cheers!

Christmas

We spent the day enjoying Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Lynn, presents from Santa and a wonderful prime rib dinner. The girls had so much fun opening their gifts and Travis and I loved watching them do it. Ahhh, to be a kid again!

Christmas Eve

As we have for the last three years, we went over to Kathy's house for Christmas eve to spend the holiday with the Burge family. There is always a lot of things going on there, food, family, gifts, kids, ect. . .
We love spending the evening there with everyone and although the atmosphere is busy, we have learned to enjoy that the most!

Arctic Blast 2008

This year the Northwest recieved a little snow which the media referred to as the Arctic Blast of 2008. Here is our version of it!

Christmas Tree Hunt

We didn't have to go very far to find a Christmas tree this year. We went to Olivia's school to help with a fundraiser. Olivia picked her favorite tree out, then Travis and I decided on a different one. She wasn't very happy about it, but she is not the boss!

Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving we had Grandma and Grandpa (Ooma and Papa) over for the day. Travis smoked a turkey and it turned out wonderful.
Gigi's hair is getting long! We can braid it now!

Halloween

Halloween is great fun when you have kids! We had Uncle Scott and Aunt Buffy over with Karlie to trick or treat and the girls had a ball. Olivia was the first to poop out for the afternoon! The third and fourth pictures are of the three girls, Olivia, Gigi and Karlie, the second picture is of Marlie (Bob Marley that is) and the first is of Ruby, Olivia and Camille, all good friends.

Pony Ride

At the Harvest Festival, they offered pony rides. So of course Olivia wanted to take a try, dress and all. Gigi was a little more skeptical, so she opted for the safer option.

Harvest Festival

What a quick year! Here we are again, well into autumn and on our way into the 2008 holiday season. I didn't ever really think of Halloween as a holiday, then I had kids. What fun it is to have a family of girls to dress up for Harvest Festivals and Halloween. We went to this harvest festival with Ooma and Papa, and although the sky was clear, it was very brisk just as it should this time of year. We had a lot of fun! Stay tuned. . . . . .

Florance, Oregon (family)

Florance, Oregon (girls)

Florance, Oregon (Olivia)

Olivia is like most children when it comes to the Ocean, she is drawn to it, no matter what the temperature. She stripped out of her coat and shoes, and wanted to play in the water. So of course we let her, even though it caused a little nasal leakage.

Florance, Oregon (Gigi)

The weather couldn't have been better for a trip to the beach. Although it is mid October and the sun was out, it was of course a bit brisk. Gigi dressed for the weather with her big, heavy, fluffy coat!

Going to the beach!

Last weekend we made a trip to Florance Oregon to see Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Lynn. We went four wheeling in the dunes, ate seafood and had a beautiful weekend on the Oregon coast. Everytime grandpa Lynn took out Georgia and I, Georgia would fall asleep promptly. It was the only time she for the duration of the trip.

Matching Pj's

Just a quick update because I had the time. Gigi had a hard time wanting to put these jammies on because she thought they were Olivia's. Finally, after seeing Olivia in hers, she decided to give it a try.
